GLOSSARY TERM

Runtime Application Self-Protection

Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) provides runtime monitoring that involves tracking the behavior of an application while it is executing. This may include detecting code injection, tracing unusual memory access patterns, or watching for tampering tools in the process space.

The goal is to respond dynamically to threats by modifying execution, shutting down processes, or logging violations. Runtime monitoring helps detect attacks that bypass static protections.

PACE Fusion integrates runtime monitoring directly into the application binary, allowing protected applications to self-defend during execution.
