March 2026

2026 has kicked off at full speed for PACE. After a great start at The NAMM Show in Anaheim, our team is now gearing up for a busy spring of product releases and industry events.

While the sales team was meeting customers at NAMM, our engineers were hard at work releasing Beta 2 of Fusion 6 — and we’ve already followed it with Beta 3.

Fusion 6 is the next generation of our market-leading software protection. It delivers powerful security to prevent reverse engineering while integrating smoothly into modern developer workflows. We’re excited to share more as we build toward the full 6.0 release this summer.

We’re also pleased to announce that Fusion has been accepted into the MathWorks Connections Program. At the upcoming MathWorks Automotive Conference in April, we’ll be demonstrating how Fusion helps protect automotive software IP and sensitive algorithms; both inside vehicles and in the development tools used to design, model, and maintain them.

If you’d like to learn more about anything in this newsletter, visit our website or reach out to us at [email protected]. We’d love to hear from you.

NAB Show 2026

The next big event for PACE is NAB Show in Las Vegas. Each year, 55,000 professionals from broadcast, media and entertainment head to Las Vegas to see where media tech is heading. AI-driven editing, cloud production, remote workflows, virtual production, and immersive media are all sure to be the buzz of the show.

Software innovators face two pressing challenges today:

  1. Protecting AI models deployed at the edge
  2. Securing software to maximize revenue

PACE will be discussing how Fusion AI protects AI models anywhere and how iLok Licensing enables you to monetize and protect your software.

NAB takes place from April 18 to 22. If you’re attending, schedule a meeting with us ahead of time to discuss protecting your AI models and securing your software revenue.

In the meantime, why not read our article highlighting 5 Critical Security Measures for the Media & Entertainment Industry.

Trusted by hundreds of software developers worldwide, iLok is a flexible, fully hosted licensing platform that supports a wide range of business models including:

  • Perpetual licenses
  • Subscriptions
  • Trials
  • Rentals
  • Rent-to-own

This flexibility allows you to tailor how customers access and pay for your software while protecting your revenue from piracy.

iLok also offers multiple activation options. End users can activate licenses:

  • On a host machine
  • In the cloud
  • Using an iLok USB device

For larger environments such as labs, schools, and studios, the iLok License Server allows licenses to be securely shared across local networks — even in air-gapped environments.
